The Steps To Your Dream Home
Your journey with Mint Design Homes will be an exciting and collaborative experience. What set us apart from others, is our communication and collaboration with you. At every step of your journey, from the initial consultation through to the handover you will have direct access to your builder who will ensure you know exactly what is happening and when.
Phase 1
Design
This phase of the journey involves our team listening and learning about your vision and lifestyle. We then use your unique perspective to create your plans, designs and contract.

From the very beginning, we aim to understand your vision and aspirations for your future home. Sam will schedule a meeting with you to discuss your vision, budget, timeline, preferences and any specific materials you would like used. Ensuring that your home is perfectly tailored to fit your lifestyle.
Sam will take your vision back to our talented designers, ensuring you are matched with a designer, drafter or architect who aligns with your vision and budget. We collaborate closely with the designer to ensure all the small, but important details are captured.
Once you have approved your designs, we will provide a comprehensive quote and specifications. This is done in person to allow for a detailed discussion and give you an opportunity to ask questions and make sure you are completely satisfied with your quote.
Phase 2
Construction
As you watch your dream home take shape, you’ll feel a sense of involvement and assurance. We prioritise communication and coordination to ensure your home is delivered on time, on budget and in immaculate condition.

Once construction commences, we keep you informed about every milestone through our regular communication and weekly onsite meetings with you. You will also have a live online building schedule and project forecast to keep you completely up to date with the project at all times. The duration of your build will depend on the specific plans, but we are dedicated to meeting the timelines we’ve set together.
Congratulations! Your dream home is complete and ready for you to enjoy. Our team will meet you in person at the house to give you the keys and all the documentation for warranties, instruction manuals and a walkthrough of your new home.
Our commitment to quality and your happiness does not end when you get the keys. We follow up to ensure that you’re enjoying your new home and also provide a 12-month maintenance period to address any concerns you may have.
